    The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at St. Luke’s is the largest not-for-profit provider of mental health and addiction services in New York City. Since 1954, we have dedicated ourselves to providing comprehensive, high-quality services that enable individuals to improve their overall quality of life. At St. Luke’s, we have the experience and expertise to assist with all behavioral health concerns, whether they are psychiatric, substance abuse, or both.

    Our Mission  

    St. Luke’s is dedicated to providing behavioral health services to meet the mental health needs of New York City. We provide comprehensive, high-quality services that empower individuals to change their lives. We effect changes in consumer education, outreach, and community collaboration; and we help to shape the future through leading-edge research and development of skilled professional staff to serve individuals and their communities.
