    Our Comprehensive Stroke Center is a state-of-the-art facility at the forefront of diagnostics and therapies that provides high-quality, compassionate care for people with life-threatening strokes.

    State-of-the-Art Care for Strokes

    We deliver rapid, coordinated responses for people who have suffered strokes. Partnering with a patient’s primary care physician, we tailor treatments, rehabilitation, and prevention programs to meet an individual’s needs, ensuring that risk factors are reduced and recovery is complete.  

    The Stroke Center participates in advanced clinical trials, enabling eligible patients to take full advantage of new stroke therapies. 

    Because the Stroke Center meets the highest standards for treating stroke, and has stroke teams available 24/7, the New York State Department of Health has made St. Luke’s Hospital a “designated” stroke center.
