    Crime Victims Treatment Center (CVTC)

    All support groups and services at CVTC are provided free of charge and run on a rolling basis.  Please call for dates.

    Adult Female Survivors of Sexual Assault

    Adult Female Survivors of Rape provides support and validation through telling the storyand exploration of the impact of sexual assault on current relationships.

    Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse

    Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse provides members with the opportunity to tell their story in a safe and supportive setting, and to witness and validate each others experiences.

    Date and Time: Weekly for 8, 12 or 16 weeks.

    Domestic Violence Support Group

    Domestic Violence Support Group (women only) focuses on the dynamics of abusive relationships, self-care, and steps to living without violence.

    Date and Time: All groups require a pre-group interview with the facilitating therapist. Groups meet on a weekly basis and are time-limited, usually 8, 12 or 16 weeks. Call for information.

    Co-Ed Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Workshop

    This is a 3 session group to help survivors of violence understand the effects of PTSD.  The workshop covers symptoms, effects of PTSD on the brain, and grounding techniques.  Open only to current CVTC clients.

    Teen Trauma Group

    Teen Trauma Group (girls only) is a creative arts support group for teens with a history of victimization such as sexual abuse, sexual assault, or dating violence.

    Co-Ed Auricular Acupuncture Group 

    A weekly acupuncture group that uses the NADA Protocol, several acupuncture points in the ear that are known to reduce the symptoms of PTSD.  Open only to current CVTC clients.

    Co-Ed Holistic Healing Group

    A 10 week alternative healing group for survivors of trauma structured around the 7 energy centers of the body (chakras).  Open only to current clients of CVTC.
